How do I apply to MMTA - Nigeria & MMA - USA?

You can apply through our online application portal. The process includes submitting an application form, academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, a personal statement, and a resume. Once your application is complete, shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and additional evaluations.

What are the admission requirements?

Applicants must have completed a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, you’ll need:

  • Two letters of recommendation
  • A personal statement (500-700 words)
  • A resume outlining relevant experiences and achievements
  • High school transcripts or equivalent academic records.

Candidates will also undergo a neuro-psychological evaluation and a medical examination to ensure they meet the health and cognitive requirements for maritime training

Is financial aid or scholarships available?

What is the application fee?

A non-refundable application fee of $50 is required to process your application. Fee waivers may be available for students who demonstrate financial need.

Are there entrance exams?

Yes, we conduct entrance examinations for shortlisted applicants. The dates are as follows:

  • Spring Semester: November 15
